Description
Sigracet 28 BC is a premium non-woven carbon fiber paper that incorporates a Microporous Layer (MPL) and a 5 wt% PTFE hydrophobic treatment. With a total thickness of approximately 235 µm, it offers a balanced combination of mechanical strength, electrical conductivity, and superior water management for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFCs).
The PTFE treatment ensures excellent water-repellent characteristics, preventing flooding within the highly porous carbon structure and maintaining optimal gas diffusion. This hydrophobic behavior enhances durability and contributes to consistent cell performance across varying humidity and load conditions.
