Description
The standard humidifier unit contains an independent sub-system that allowing for fuel or oxidant humidification only. As the fuel or oxidant gas enters the corresponding sub-system of the humidifier, it passes through a diffuser that disperses the gas stream into a train of bubbles. The bubbles then travel up through a column of heated deionized water (evaporator), thus humidifying the gas. The space above the deionized water in the evaporator column is known as the headspace. The headspace may optionally be equipped with a heater and temperature controller. After passing through the evaporator column, the gas stream exits the humidifier.
The temperature of the deionized water in each sub-system can be set by the user in the range from ambient to below Tb, where Tb is the boiling point of the water at the reactant gas pressure. The maximum water temperature for the unit is 115°C.

A fully functional Computer Software is supplied for humidifier control. The software is DEMO marked but fully functional for the humidifier. If the customer wants to extend the software for other functions like (addition of gas flow controls, additional temperature controls, pressure measurement, and control), the software must be purchased.
